I liked it so much I went back the next day (to the other location in Dearborn). The guy was great and helped me decide on a few things I would have never tired - like the potatoes. O. M. G. delicious. Also got a plain chicken breast - great! The hummus was creamy and the garlic was ultra garlicky. The foul came with mint which was a nice spin. Everything is hand made except the bread which comes from a bakery. But wowsa. Oh the falafel. OHHHHHHH. It had the crunch! They just opened for dinner (until 8pm) which is when I carried mine out. Great.

AlTayeb Restaurant 873 Inkster Rd, Garden City, MI 48135 This is hands down the most authentic Middle Eastern restaurant I have ever been to. You know it is real when you don't see gyro on their menu. Everything that we ordered was packed with flavor and yet comforting. 1. Foul: Stew of cooked fava beans served with olive oil, cumin, and optional veggies. 2. Spicy potatoes: It had everything in one bite: crispiness, spiciness, and packed with flavor! 3. Fresh Hummus. 4. Sesame Fried Cheese. 5. Eggs with Ground Meat. 6. Veggies. #Tonylameats #altayebrestaurant #middleeasternfood #gardencitymichigan

This restaurant gives major "mom and pop" type of vibes and those are my favorites! My husband and I were in Dearborn visiting a dear friend of ours and we always let her pick out our food itinerary because she knows all the best places, especially when it comes to Middle Eastern food! She brought us here on a Sunday morning for breakfast prior to us heading back to Chicago, and omg, everything was delicious! I wish I could tell you what we ordered but we had her pick everything out since she knows what's best. The service was fantastic as we were greeted and seated right away. Our server checked in on us from time to time to make sure everything was to our liking and we always appreciate great service nowadays. From our spread, the egg dish was definitely my favorite along with the potatoes. We also had tea to wash down all the deliciousness so overall, yes, I would definitely be back whenever I visit Dearborn again because it will never be the last. Everything was great and we couldn't have asked for anything better to end our short weekend trip to Dearborn!
